Hi! I think getting to know someone who is going to be capturing you story is so important! So let me tell you a little about me! I have I am a mother, a partner, a nurse, a writer, and a photographer. Whew, that’s a lot! I am, in some ways, your everyday, yoga loving, taco eating, margarita sippin’ girl. Nature is my jam. I love being outdoors, especially hiking. I have 5 kiddos. Yep, five. They are the best! Yes, it is crazy and I wouldn't trade it for anything! My best friend and partner-in-crime is Charlotte, we have been together for 8 years! I am a registered nurse. I love my job as a nurse. It is both humbling and empowering to be able to make a difference, for others, this way. I also started writing for a photography magazine this year, tapping into my creative side even more! Photography is my passion! I fell in love with photography at a young age and never stopped loving it! It feeds my spirit and fills my soul!

Seeing life through my lens... I am a photographer. However, I don't just "take pictures”. I am a storyteller. I capture your moments and help you create treasured memories, for years to come. I love the art of storytelling and can't wait to help you tell your story!

Why did I become a photographer... I have loved storytelling for as long as I can remember. As a child, my mother and I would write stories for each other, in a notebook. She encouraged my free spirit, my creativity and my imagination. On camping trips, we would sit around a fire and tell “circle stories”. Each person contributing a sentence or a few sentences to the story, through their own imagination. I loved the energy that surrounded those times, the excitement and creativity. When I was six, I received my first camera for Christmas. it was a dark brown, Kodak 110 camera. The only part I didn't love was when I ran out of film. I began studying photography seriously in college. Due to an accident, I had to change my focus. I went to nursing school and became a nurse. Now, years later, my passion has been rekindled. I have decided to embrace my first love with all of me and change the focus once more and pursue my lifelong dream of being a photographer full time! I love to constantly challenge myself through my art, learning new things all the time! I feel like photography really allows me to just keep learning and growing. I love planning sessions with clients, really seeing their vision and helping them to create it! I get excited every time I pick up my camera and head to a session! I can’t wait to help you plan your session with me!
